What's the difference between dedicated hardware and a virtual machine?
You get a complete physical Mac mini — the entire chip, all memory, and the full SSD belong to you alone, with root-level access. Reinstall the OS, tweak kernel parameters, or hit the Neural Engine directly — it's all fair game. Virtualized Mac instances are capped at 2 VMs per host under Apple's macOS licensing terms and share the host's I/O; dedicated hardware has none of those limits, so benchmark results match a local machine exactly.
Which Xcode and macOS versions are supported?
Machines ship by default with macOS Sequoia 15 and Xcode 16.x. You can switch to macOS Sonoma 14 with Xcode 15.4 with one click in the Portal. M4 tiers additionally support macOS Ventura 13. Switching triggers a full disk reinstall that takes about 25 minutes — back up your data first.
What's the refund policy?
Daily-billed orders are non-refundable once provisioned. For monthly plans and longer, you can request a full refund within 72 hours of provisioning, provided the machine shows no policy violations.
